I got sent this today. (Yes, from a friend.) I’ll admit that at first, I thought it was joke. Some random weirdness that plays up the Jerry Lewis Comedy Trough theory to the hilt in a dark, dark way.
Then I read more about James Unsworth, the artist whose YouTube channel this is. (I don’t know. He’s got a thing for Ninja Turtles, I guess.)
Basically, I regret seeing this. I even regret watching it to the end.
But I don’t regret posting this. And for the record, I don’t regret that it got made.
Because you may not like what artist James Unsworth does. Or how he expresses himself.
But his art exists. And though it may not be my slice of jizz, I’m content in knowing that he’s doing it. And I’d fight like a mutherfucker to make sure his point of view wasn’t altered one iota. Regardless of how off-putting it may be.
That being said, I REALLY dig his illustration work:
